Do you have a wild, biotech, life-changing idea that you think would save the world? Are you a bio-rebel who would like to change the world, but feels daunted by the cost and challenges of biotech startup entrepreneurship?
We’ve seen too many innovative scientists and ideas that could save the world fail for various reasons including lack of wet lab space availability, restrictive IP rights agreements and cost. There are many innovative ideas that are changing the world that don’t get implemented or taken to the next level. For early-stage biotech startups and climate tech startups, the challenge of securing wet lab space, especially in a hub like the Bay Area, can be daunting. Traditional biotech incubators often charge a lot and require equity from the company and/or claims to their IP. The expense of acquiring the high-end lab technology required for wet lab research is a major obstacle for most early-stage companies.
Dr. David Kiewlich, founder, has spent 28 years in biotech, founding 6 successful biotech startups, spending 18 months of that time just searching for lab space. This motivated his creation of BADASS Labs, an incubator for biotech and climate startups in the Bay Area with the goal to make the next innovative biotech and climate startups successful with zero equity claims and IP rights claims on founders and their inventions.
BADASS Labs is the #1 nonprofit biotech incubator in the USA with a mission of launching innovative biotech startups and climate tech startups.
