Picking lab space for our startup, Syntopa, was an important early decision. Our research involves bioprospecting, microbial bioassays, sequencing, gene editing, and more- all on a startup budget. This was the best fit for us for a few key reasons.

Firstly, it is a clean, organized, and modern space, and it is a safe and pleasant place to show up to work. Second, the labs are well equipped with a broad set of relatively new shared equipment.. that works! The majority of our workflows are run with these instruments which saves serious time and money. Finally, we also appreciate the simple flat fee structure and included services which really make the rates competitive, and makes budgeting much more straightforward. Last, but NOT least, David and his staff are highly motivated and engaged in making the space a great place to get research done, and they are very accessible and responsive to our evolving needs and any issues when they come up.
